Ryo Suwa, the founder & artist of Katachi Art, creates abstract artworks that celebrate the beauty of organic patterns.  

Born and raised in Japan, Ryo was inspired by the natural landscapes and cultural traditions of his homeland. These influences shaped his appreciation for the harmony and simplicity found in nature.

From Data to Digital Art

Ryo pursued a degree in physics at the University of Tokyo, where he explored the underlying patterns that shape the world around us. This academic foundation strengthened his ability to think critically and creatively about complex systems. 

After graduating, he began his career in data science and visualization. In this role, he worked with intricate datasets and cutting-edge technologies, uncovering visual representations of information. These experiences helped him master the tools to translate natural beauty into digital form.

Fusing Tradition and Technology

Blending his technical expertise with his artistic vision, Ryo developed a unique approach to digital art. His creations reflect a deep understanding of patterns, textures, and forms. Each piece balances modern techniques with timeless inspirations drawn from nature.
